Child Labour Monitoring and Direct Beneficiaries Monitoring System Training and Presentation of Baseline Survey Results

The training aims to develop the Child Labor Monitoring System and referral system and discuss the Direct Beneficiaries Monitoring System on child labour.

The training to be conducted in pilot areas of the Country Level Engagement and Assistance to Reduce Child Labour (CLEAR) project, aims to develop the Child Labour Monitoring System that will ensure, as a consequence of monitoring, children and young legally employed workers are safe from exploitation and hazards at work. Members of the provincial child labour committees from the International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC) pilot areas will participate in the workshop. The referral system which will link appropriate services and ex-child labourers will also be designed in the workshop. The Direct Beneficiaries Monitoring System used for all IPEC Action Programs on direct services will be discussed and tested through a group activity.

Results of the recently concluded baseline survey will also be presented to the members of the child labour committees who will create criteria for selection of project beneficiaries.
