ILO launches new E-learning programme: Tools to strengthen SCORE Trainer skills in Latin America and the Caribbean

The ILO, through the SCORE Programme, will strengthen the capacities of SCORE trainers in the region to continue providing quality training to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

La Paz – In the framework of the interventions to strengthen productivity, competitiveness, and working conditions of SMEs in Latin America and the Caribbean, the ILO, through the SCORE Programme’s activities in Bolivia, launches the new E-learning training programme: Tools to strengthen SCORE trainer skills in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The training has been organized with the support of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), to carry out participatory and practical learning to exchange experiences and knowledge with the international community of ILO trainers and qualified professionals. In addition, it will improve the offer of SCORE Training to make it more agile and competitive in an ever-changing business environment, where constant learning is required.

The learning sessions will be free of charge and will take place from 27 June to 22 September 2023. The following topics will be covered:

E-learning sessions

  • Improving business through a gender perspective. Date: 27 and 30 June
  • How to offer SCORE Training in a changing market? Date: 24 July and 1 August
  • Lean manufacturing and new industrial business cases. Date: 21 and 25 August
  • SCORE Module for Climate Action. Date: 19 and 22 September

SCORE Traininig to promote Responsible and Sustainable Businesses

The SCORE Training programme is a global training and technical assistance programme developed by the ILO for SMEs interested in establishing management systems to improve and optimize different areas of their business. Updating and strengthening the knowledge of SCORE trainers will provide better tools for SMEs to achieve sustainability.
