Orientation and Consultative workshop: Effective employment services

The aim is to share information and a better understanding of modality, structure and scope of the project.

The ILO's Labour Market Information and Employment Services (LIfE) Project with financial support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA),  is implementing with the Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE), Department of Labour (DoL), in promoting skills development and overall quality of employment services through the Employment Service Centres (ESCs).

The specific objectives are to:
   
•    share information of the project
•    share experiences, lessons learnt and best practices on Labour Market Information (LMI) and employment services
•    discuss on needs of Employment Service Centres
•    collect innovative ideas and new concepts in improving the quality of employment services

Around 30 participants from the ESC, government, workers and employers organizations, technical and vocational training providers and other key stakeholders of labour market information and employment services will participate in the training programme.

The participants will have a common platform in the knowledge management of LMI and build partnerships among project implementers, implementing partners’ organizations and stakeholders for effective and efficient implementation of the project.
