This report presents the findings from the study as well as recommendations for APINDO and other relevant stakeholders to promote decent work for homeworkers.

Acknowledging the existence of homeworkers and the important contribution they make to the businesses in Indonesia, the Indonesian Employers’ Association, APINDO, started taking actions to promote decent work for homeworkers. In this context, APINDO identified the need to understand the practices of employers in engaging homeworkers and conducted a study on the employers’ practices in engaging homeworkers with support from the ILO/MAMPU project.
