She shares her inspiring life journey during the ILO’s training programmes to be a living example that persons with disabilities only need to have equal opportunities in every aspect of life to realize their potentials.
ILO works hand in hand with local authority to provide psychological supports for officials dealing with survivors of gender-based violence
Under a joint EU-UN Spotlight Partnership, ILO and the Ministry of Social, Solidarity and Inclusion (MSSI) identify priorities to enhance knowledge and develop skills in providing effective psychological support services towards the victims of gender-based violence and domestic violence in Timor-Leste.
To promote gender and disability inclusivity in Timor-Leste, the ILO through its Roads for Development Supporting Programme (R4D-SP) Bridging Phase conducted two training programmes on Gender Equality and Disability Inclusion (GEDI) reaching out to both government officials and local communities.
