Endorsement of Gender Responsive Labour Inspection Toolkit and Gender Mainstreaming in PC by Department of Labour Punjab

In a meeting at the Industrial Relations Institute, Secretary Labour Punjab approved the PC-1 drafted by the Gender Focal Person in consultation with ILO on establishing day care facilities for working women to provide them a conducive work environment such that they continue to work productively as married working mothers. In the same meeting the Gender Responsive Labour Inspection Toolkit developed for mainstreaming gender across all work areas was endorsed for use during labour inspections. ILO will provide technical assistance to in the implementation of both the PC-1 and the GRLI roll out.
