    The majority 51.7 of working children in the informal sector were females and formed the majority in all age groups. As far as the education of status of the working children were concerned the majority 61.4 percent had not completed their primary school education; that is, they were either never enrolled, primary school dropouts, pre-primary school pupils or primary school pupils.
