Capacity building activities for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) improvements in craft villages in Hung Yen Province

The capacity city building activities are to generate a deeper understanding of specific workplace hazards and risks present in the craft villages, particularly as they affect young workers.

The specific objectives of the training workshops are to provide the craft villagers with necessary information to minimise the OSH risks at their workplace and promote the culture of prevention in the informal workplaces. In July 2017, the trainings will be organised in two craft villages in Hưng Yen province, which gathers young local and migrant workers. The expected participants to the training are local labour administrators at the grassroots levels, owners of craft manufaturing households and young workers at the age of 24 and below
