Piloting of the 2016 GET Ahead training packages in Viet Nam

Vietnamese trainers are updated with the new version of the ILO's basic business training package "Gender and Enterprise Together: GET Ahead" as a pilot step for curriculum to be available worldwide by January 2017.

As the ILO’s basic business training package “Gender and Enterprise Together: GET Ahead” is reviewed and updated, the piloting and first public sharing in Asia of the updated GET Ahead training materials takes place over a three day workshop in Hanoi, Viet Nam.

The workshop brings together 25 Vietnamese trainers who were previously trained in GET Ahead and have trained women and men using the training materials. The event aims to:
  1. familiarize Vietnamese trainers with the new international standard version of the materials and
  2. give room for trainers to provide invaluable inputs to the revision team in terms of the material’s clarity, relevance and length to be integrated into the final version to be made available worldwide by January 2017 and
  3. provide suggestions on the next steps in the dissemination and roll out strategy for the new materials.
