Workshop on Enhance the Cooperation between the Labour Sector and Law Enforcement in Identification, Support, and Protection of Victims of Trafficking in International Labour Migration

Objectives

  • Identify risks of being trafficked among labour migrants;
  • Review functional roles and responsibilities of related parties in handling criminal violations in international labour migration;
  • Share lessons learnt and experiences in cooperation between labour sector and polices in prevention, protection and supports to victims of labour trafficking in international labour migration;
  • Propose solutions and recommendations to enhance cooperation between the two sectors in prevention, identification, support and protections of victims of trafficking and associated forms of exploitation, including forced labour, slavery and similar practices (debt bondage and forced marriage).
