The TRIANGLE Sub-Regional Advisory Committee (SURAC) Meeting

The SURAC (Sub-regional Advisory Committee) meeting has served as an ILO platform for tripartite constituents to share information, experiences and provide guidance on anti-trafficking and migration management for over ten years.

The SURAC meeting aims to share information and progress on project goals among tripartite constituents and other key partners.

Objectives

  • Validate the national and regional level Theory of Change models for TRIANGLE II and ensure linkages across the national Theories and appropriate inclusion of cross-cutting themes; reflect on the draft strategies on cross-cutting themes of gender, private sector engagement and communications;
  • Discuss and strategize how to shape activities under TRIANGLE II’s Objective Three that aims at making migration systems more efficient across the region, including though increased skills recognition;
  • Consult with partners on the initial baseline survey results to be used for monitoring and evaluation of TRIANGLE II; and
  • Share the initial findings of the final evaluation of the ASEAN TRIANGLE project.
