An industrial relations conference will be organised in Hanoi on 31 May 2013 in conjunction with the launching of the second phase IR Project. With the participation of the leaders of tripartite constituents at the national and local level, and a wider audience from the various interested parties and stakeholders from across Vietnam and the international community, the conference aims to identify the key challenges in working “Towards Better Industrial Relations and the Revised Labour Code and Trade Union Law”. Through this conference, the key IR actors will have developed a shared understanding of the challenges and a roadmap for implementing the changes in the Labour Code and the Trade Union Law and how the IR Project can best support the efforts of the Vietnamese IR actors in this process.
