HANOI (ILO News) – The International Labour Organization (ILO) and MVV Education JSC. have signed a public-private partnership agreement to jointly create e-learning solutions to benefit Viet Nam’s businesses.

Under the agreement, the ILO will provide training materials and videos of its innovative Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) Training aiming to help companies improve productivity and working conditions.

MVV Edu will contribute their expertise as a leading e-learning provider in Viet Nam and turn the materials into engaging e-learning courses to support Vietnamese enterprises through training and workforce development. Learners will be able to access the courses on MVV’s Everlearn platform, MVV Uni and on the e-learning platform of the SME Technical Assistance Center (SME TAC), an ILO implementation partner under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

“This is an exciting collaboration for us,” said Stephan Ulrich, Regional Programme Manager of the ILO’s SCORE Programme. “We are bringing together complementary expertise from the ILO on labour and private sector development and from MVV Edu on e-learning solutions and business outreach.”

SCORE Training demonstrates best international practice in the manufacturing and service sectors and helps SMEs to participate in global supply chains. It focuses on developing cooperative working relations resulting in shared benefits. SCORE Training modules cover topics of workplace cooperation, quality management, clean production, human resource management, and occupational safety and health.

“Enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses is a key objective of MVV Edu which we are pleased to advance together with ILO. The Vietnamese workforce is under an urgent need of upskilling and reskilling and the ILO has many good practices to share. This partnership is a good example of how an international organization and a local tech-based solution enterprise can join forces to contribute to the development of Vietnamese business community,” said Nguyen Thanh Son, MVV Edu Chairman.
