ILO launches media competition and Youth4OSH project in the Philippines

To build a safety and health culture among young Filipino workers, the ILO launches the Youth4OSH Project and invites young people to join the SafeYouth@Work Media Competition. Winning entries for photo, film, song, story, poster/drawing and the unique Surprise Us category will get the chance to travel to Singapore in September 2017 and to present their winning piece due on 30 June 2017.

Youth Rights at Work: Towards Safe and Inclusive Work Environment
25 youth will participate in the Training of Trainers (TOT) organised by the ILO’s Bureau for Workers ‘Activities (ACTRAV) in cooperation with WHO, UNICEF, UNAIDS and UNFPA. This training will focus on the different pillars of decent work including gender, inclusiveness, occupational health and safety as well as the principles of adult education. The aim of the training is to train and provide the trainees with the designed training package for pilot implementation within their communities and networks.
