Expert Workshop on the Adaptation of ILO Quality Apprenticeship Guide for Practitioners successfully held in Tianjin

On 22 June, the ILO project ‘Quality Apprenticeship and Lifelong Learning in China’ successfully organized Expert Workshop on the Adaptation of ILO Quality Apprenticeship Guide for Practitioners (the Guide) in Tianjin. Around 20 national experts in vocational training and apprenticeship participated in the workshop to present adaptation frameworks and have discussions on the further development of the adaptation, in order to make the Guide more applicable based on the current implementation of China New Enterprise-based Apprenticeship Program

Capacity Building Workshops on Quality Apprenticeship successfully held in Chongqing

During March 31 to April 1, the ILO project ‘Quality Apprenticeship and Lifelong Learning in China’ successfully held Capacity Building Workshops on Quality Apprenticeship in Chongqing. A total of 225 participants joined the discussions on ILO Toolkit for Quality Apprenticeships Volume 2: Guide for Practitioners, effective partnership building in apprenticeship and international labour standard setting on apprenticeships

Core Skill Development Training Workshop successfully held online

On 25th January, the ILO project ‘Quality Apprenticeship and Lifelong Learning in China’ successfully organized Core Skill Development Training Workshop online. Over 120 participants from 71 pilot enterprises, TVET institutions and public agencies attended training to gain in-depth knowledge of the ILO Global Framework on Core Skills for the 21st Century and practices of core skill development.

During 10 to 11 December, in partnership with Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS), with support of J.P. Morgan Chase, the ILO project ‘Quality Apprenticeship and Lifelong Learning in China’ successfully held Project Piloting Launch and Training Workshop on Quality Apprenticeship in Rizhao city, Shandong province.

TURIN (ILO News) - On 13-16 February, a sub-regional kick-off conference for the second phase of the ILO Project “Partnerships for Youth Employment in the CIS" was held. The second phase will be implemented in 2018-2022 by ILO Moscow with financial support of the Russian company LUKOIL.

Capacity Building Workshop to Improve the Delivery of Public Employment Services and to Strengthen Youth Rights at Work in China
To improve local employment officials’ capacity in their delivery of public employment services (PES) for both young women and men, including persons with disabilities, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS) jointly organize a workshop on public employment services in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
