The summit, which saw Africa Ministers of Labour from Member states, who are members of the Africa Regional Labour Administration Centre (ARLAC) has ended. It was a busy three days, which started with the 45th ARLAC Governing Council, then on the second day, a discussion on the draft standard on ‘violence and harassment in the world of work’; and on the last day, the launch and deliberations of the Global Commission Report on the Future of Work; and concluding on a high note with celebrations of the ILO’s 100 years of existence hosted by the Government of South Africa.
