    Improved Workers' Rights in Rural Sectors of the Indo-Pacific with a focus on Women

    This ILO project, funded by the US Department of Labor (US DOL), aims to improve the promotion and compliance to labour laws, occupational safety and health, and gender equality in the rural sectors in the Philippines and Indonesia, with a focus on women workers.

    ILO project to improve safety and health in the mining industry of Ukraine

    1 May 2017 - 31 March 2020

    The overall objective of the project is to reduce work accidents and occupational diseases in the mining industry of Ukraine through a systematic development of modern occupational safety and health (OSH) policies supported by enhanced capacity of social partners. The project will assist the constituents at policy level, strengthen the capacity of social partners to implement practical OSH management measures at the workplace level, and promote occupational safety and preventative culture.

    The project aims to address occupational safety and health (OSH) in hazardous industries in Viet Nam and Cambodia, strengthen national OSH systems in line with the on-going national OSH programmes, and improve OSH standards at workplace level.
