These objectives are closely linked and form an important part of the ILO’s effort to contribute to improving the governance of labour migration.

    Tripartite Consultation Workshop on the Reform of the Law on Contract-Based Vietnamese Overseas Workers (Law 72)

    The workshop aims to assist in framing policies and adjustments to be made to the Law 72 through enable key stakeholders to provide their views on the review and revision of the law conducted by DOLAB and for the consultant to present preliminary findings of the independent evaluation. The workshop will also allow participants to increase awareness of the international standards relating to labour migration and best practices of the other origin countries in formulating law governing labour migration.
