  3. Convening Actors to Develop and Implement Strategies to Reduce Child Labour and Improve Working Conditions in Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (CARING GOLD MINING PROJECT)

    11 December 2015 - 31 October 2019

    Funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL), the four-year project will address child labour, decent work deficits and working conditions in Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (ASGM) in the Philippines, specifically in Camarines Norte as pilot province.

  4. From Protocol to Practice: A Bridge to Global Action on Forced Labour (The Bridge Project) Nepal

    1 September 2015 - 2 January 2022

    The project aims to strengthen the capacity of the relevant Ministries and stakeholders, to develop, implement and monitor policies and national action plans on forced labour, provide capacity building to improve law enforcement, and support for public awareness campaigns to address all forms of forced labour.

  5. ILO/Japan Fund for Building Social Safety Nets in Asia and the Pacific (SSN Fund)

    15 June 2011 - 31 December 2022

    The SSN Fund aims to broaden the use of social safety nets through a wide range of projects to extend existing social security systems, promote occupational safety and health (OSH), develop human resources, strengthen labour inspection, eliminate forced labour and foster entrepreneurship. The Fund also responds to natural disasters by implementing crisis response activities in the affected areas to support disaster recovery.

  6. Combating the Worst Forms of Child Labour in Shrimp and Seafood Processing Areas in Thailand

    The project aims to create an industry that is free of child labour and offers decent working conditions and opportunities.

  7. Tripartite Action to Protect Migrant Workers within and from the Greater Mekong Subregion from Labour Exploitation (GMS TRIANGLE project)

    10 June 2010 - 31 May 2015

    The GMS TRIANGLE project focused on reducing the exploitation of labour migrants by contributing to the development of legal and safe recruitment channels and improved labour protection mechanisms. It is currently continued through TRIANGLE in ASEAN programme.

  8. Combating Forced Labour and Trafficking of Indonesian Migrant Workers (Phase II)

    The Project addresses the needs, rights and concerns of Indonesian migrant workers throughout the migration cycle. The project also focuses in particular on domestic workers, who are among the most vulnerable to forced labour and trafficking.
