  1. Work in Freedom: Preventing trafficking of women and girls in South Asia and the Middle East

    1 January 2013 - 31 December 2018

    The ILO-DFID “Work in Freedom” programme promotes empowerment and education, fair recruitment, safe migration and decent work for women and girls from South Asia, and thus contribute to the prevention of human trafficking in this region and in the Middle East.

  2. ILO / World Bank / Government of India Agreement – Technical Support on Rural Roads Maintenance

    1 October 2012 - 31 July 2016

    The ILO will provide technical assistance for developing and launching innovative and sustainable employment intensive rural roads maintenance systems for the project.

  3. ILO/Japan Fund for Building Social Safety Nets in Asia and the Pacific (SSN Fund)

    15 June 2011 - 31 December 2022

    The SSN Fund aims to broaden the use of social safety nets through a wide range of projects to extend existing social security systems, promote occupational safety and health (OSH), develop human resources, strengthen labour inspection, eliminate forced labour and foster entrepreneurship. The Fund also responds to natural disasters by implementing crisis response activities in the affected areas to support disaster recovery.

  4. Reducing Vulnerability to Bondage in India through Promotion of Decent Work

    The overall objective of the project is to bring significant reduction in household vulnerability to bondage in India through an integrated approach to promote Decent Work

  5. Combating the Worst Forms of Child Labour in Shrimp and Seafood Processing Areas in Thailand

    31 December 2010 - 31 March 2016

    The project aims to create an industry that is free of child labour and offers decent working conditions and opportunities.
