  3. Global Action to Improve the Recruitment Framework of Labour Migration (REFRAME)

    The REFRAME project is a European Union-funded global action aiming at preventing and reducing abusive and fraudulent recruitment practices, and maximizing the protection of migrant workers in the recruitment process and their contribution to development. The project seeks to support the dissemination and operationalization of the ILO General Principles and Operational Guidelines for Fair Recruitment, at global, regional and national level, and is implemented under the framework of the ILO Fair Recruitment Initiative .

  4. Convening Actors to Develop and Implement Strategies to Reduce Child Labour and Improve Working Conditions in Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (CARING GOLD MINING PROJECT)

    Funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL), the four-year project will address child labour, decent work deficits and working conditions in Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (ASGM) in the Philippines, specifically in Camarines Norte as pilot province.

  5. Towards stronger measures to combat abusive labour recruitment and to prevent human trafficking

    The present proposal aims to address regulatory and enforcement gaps with regards to contemporary labour recruitment practices within and across national jurisdictions as part of a broader strategy to prevent human trafficking.

  6. Business Case Studies on Forced Labour

    1 August - 31 December 2010

    The overarching theme is that business can and must play a central role in fighting coercive labour practices. The broader aim of the project is to showcase the effective engagement of companies (both MNEs and their suppliers) as they address challenges that are faced by many companies in the global economy.
