What do we know about human trafficking in Switzerland?

This is one of the issues which will be discussed during Switzerland’s first annual Anti-Human Trafficking Week.

The ILO is pleased to invite you to a series of events in the framework of the first Swiss week against human trafficking organized by the Swiss Government.

Entrance is free to the three following events, don’t hesitate to share with your friends and colleagues. We look forward to seeing you there.

On the 17th October, the ILO will take part in the screening of “Saving Dolma”, followed by a debate on the trafficking and exploitation of domestic workers.

On the 18th October, the ILO co-organizes an exhibition on the various forms of human exploitation. The exhibition, which will also mark the European Anti-Trafficking Day, is organized by the Swiss Government, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The Exhibition will consist of six interactive information booths, each focused on a particular form of human exploitation, including bonded labour, domestic servitude, forced labour, forced marriage and forced removal of organs. The information booths are intended to illustrate the diversity of human exploitation through the use of informative material, such as brochures, educational videos, photographs, posters, flags and other artwork The booths will also showcase certain responses and good practices that have been developed to address these forms of human exploitation.
