Tripartite Validation Meeting on ‘Women in Health Leadership’
Under the ILO-OECD-WHO Working for Health Project, the International Labour Organization has carried out a study on Gender Equality in Health Sector and Women in Health Leadership in Pakistan. In order to review the preliminary findings of the study with all relevant stakeholders, a tripartite consultative meeting was organised. The objectives of the consultative workshop was to share the findings of the study on women in health leadership in Pakistan, validate the findings, and to promote a social dialogue on barriers and facilitators to women's leadership in the health sector.

Orientation Workshop for the participating enterprises of Indian Tea Association
The project, Safety + Health for all plantation workers in South Asia - India Component is collaborating with the Indian Tea Association (ITA) to promote Safety and Health for all plantation workers in the small and big estates of the members of Indian Tea Association in Assam. The ILO is starting this collaboration by conducting an Orientation Workshop for the participating enterprises of Indian Tea Association on 4-5 April 2022, virtually.

Panel discussion on women’s empowerment in the world of work in fragile settings
The event was an opportunity to launch the ILO Guide “Gender equality and women’s empowerment in the world of work in fragile, conflict and disaster settings” and to engage in a global conversation with constituents, partner organizations and other stakeholders in the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus on how best to effectively mainstream gender equality and non-discrimination in the world of work faced by crisis and fragility in order to pave the way to more equal, peaceful and resilient societies.

Consultative meeting with the Small Tea Growers on Promoting Occupational Safety and Health in the Workplace
The project "Safety + Health for all plantation workers in South Asia: India Component" organized a meeting with the Employers and Membership Based Organizations (EMBOs) on 23 July 2021. As a follow up, a consultative meeting is planned with the small tea growers associations of Assam on 18 February 2022 (virtually) to promote occupational health and safety for the tea plantation workers in the small holdings of the state and to discuss the way forward in collaboration with the project of ILO.

A new generation of gender-responsive employment policies can play an important role to promote an inclusive and job-rich recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.
