    Terms of Reference: EESE for Fragile Contexts

    In the frame of its work on the Enabling Environment for Sustainable Enterprises (EESE), and Job for Peace and Resilience, the ILO is looking for a consultant to develop a a Guidance note on how to conduct EESE assessment in fragile contexts, considering both the conditions for improving the enabling environment and the process to conduct assessment. Key considerations will be the inclusion of peace-responsiveness and resilience building elements. Details relating to the scope of work, methodology and expected deliverables are available in the Terms of Reference . Expressions of interest for undertaking this assignment, including a CV, a technical and financial proposal, should be submitted to sme@ilo.org and cspr@ilo.org by August 21, 2021.

    The ILO launches recovery grants for refugee and host community-owned businesses

    To contribute to the recovery of COVID-affected businesses, the ILO has launched a small business grant scheme, targeting 200 enterprises owned by refugees and host community members in Rhino Camp, West Nile, and Nakivale in Isingiro District in Western Uganda.
