Cooperation initiative between Turkey and Colombia will foster capacities for access to decent work for all during and beyond COVID-19

With this in mind, the ILO facilitated two webinars on labour market governance, inclusive employment policies and access to social protection within the framework of the “South-south triangular cooperation (SSTC) initiative between Turkey and Colombia”.

the ILO Country Office Ankara, in close collaboration with the ILO Skills and Employability Branch and the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MONE) organized a workshop to train TVET trainers on the design and implementation of vocational training programs in contexts of fragility.

SADA Women’s Cooperative in Turkey was selected as one of the 10 projects for scaling up by the Paris Peace Forum
28 November 2019
The cooperative was formed by women from host and refugee communities to undertake collective income generation activities with the support of the ILO. The cooperative was selected as one of ten projects to be scaled up and mentored by the Paris Peace Forum in the coming year.

Identifying Syrian Refugees in Turkish Microdata

This article proposes a strategy to identify Syrian refugees in Turkey’s Household Labour Force Survey (HLFS) using propensity score matching. This methodology is then used to find the actual geographical distribution of Syrian refugees in Turkey.
