    The social protection component of the Zambia Green Jobs Programme aims to strengthening a social protection floor for vulnerable workers and families in the construction sector. This report is a brief outlining the approach methodology, and results obtained in terms of improving access to social protection among MSMEs and informal workers in the construction sector. The interventions contributed to the overall programme objectives of enterprise development and creation of new and decent green jobs

    Desk review of research on HIV/AIDS in the world of work

    This desk review was conducted by ILO/AIDS as part of the Inter-Agency Task Team on HIV workplace policies/programmes and private sector engagement (IATT/WPPS). It is based primarily on the research documents shared by the IATT members, covering vulnerability studies, stigma and discrimination studies, impact and cost-benefit studies.

    Prevention of HIV/AIDS in the World of Work: A Tripartite Response. A documentation of Good Practices.

    India’s National AIDS Control Programme aims to develop a multisectoral response to HIV/AIDS. Mainstreaming HIV/AIDS in key ministries is seen as a key strategy. The Central Board for Workers Education (CBWE), an institution of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, reaches out to 300,000 workers annually through its workers’ education programmes. CBWE, with support from the International Labour Organization (ILO), has mainstreamed HIV in its programmes that reach workers in the formal as well as informal economy in India. This case study provides insights into the process, experiences and lessons of the way CBWE has mainstreamed HIV/AIDS in its programmes.
