    On August 4 2020, a massive explosion ripped through the Port of Beirut, killing hundreds of people and leaving thousands more injured and homeless. The ILO response programme contributes to the UN Flash Appeal under the Emergency Response Framework to address the consequences of the explosion, from immediate needs to recovery and reconstruction.
