  1. Road for Development (R4D) Phase II – Road for Development Support Program (R4D-SP) Bridging Phase

    During the Bridging Phase, R4D-SP will support Government of Timor-Leste's COVID-19 recovery efforts and lay the foundation for the possible transition to the rural roads sector.

  2. Enhancing Rural Access Agro-Forestry Project (ERA Agro-Forestry)

    1 June 2017 - 31 March 2022, Baucau, Covalima, Lautem, Manatuto, Manufahi and Viqueque Municipalities

    The Project aims to contribute to a peaceful, inclusive and sustainable development in Timor-Leste, through improved rural access, the creation of employment, economic and domestic revenue opportunities through agro-forestry development, and a durable reduction in food insecurity and malnutrition in rural areas. This project is funded by the European Union.

  1. Rural Road for Development (R4D) – Phase II

    The Roads for Development Program (R4D) is the leading rural roads program in Timor-Leste, supporting the development of the rural roads sector in the country. R4D is aligned with the Government of Timor-Leste’s Strategic Development Plan 2011- 2030 and the Programs of the Constitutional Government.

  1. Integrated Rural Accessibility Planning (IRAP)

    1 January 2007 - 31 December 2009,

    The project provides a sustainable community based participatory planning mechanism to prioritise reconstruction and maintenance of rural roads to improve access to essential basic services and facilitate local economic development. It directly contributes to the policies and strategies of the Government of Sri Lanka to provide accessibility to all population and to have high quality mobility road network for the transportation of passengers and goods.

  2. Local Development through Infrastructure Investments and Jobs - Advisory Support, Information Services and Training Programme (ASIST-AP)

    1 January 1998 - 31 December 2009,

    The programme works to develop and mainstream local resource-based strategies for sustainable development and poverty reduction. It is currently operational in 15 countries in the region.
