Papers presented at the 14th regional seminar for labour-based practitioners 5-9 September 2011

Document de réunion | 9 septembre 2011
The seminar aims at drawing together about 400 local and international delegates (including ministers of public works and infrastructure) from across the world through a common forum to share experiences and discuss measures to address the related developmental challenges of employment creation and infrastructure investment as fundamental cornerstones to reducing poverty in Africa and other developing countries. In addition, the seminar provides the platform for participants to share experiences on ways of promoting widespread and cost-effective use of employment-intensive approaches to infrastructure development and other related activities that result in sustainable assets and optimise creation of employment opportunities.
