    IDWF Online Communication Network Helps Domestic Workers around the Globe Unite

    The International Domestic Workers Federation (IDWF) in partnership with the International Labour Organization is excited to launch its communication network for domestic workers around the globe to connect with one another online. This network, the first of its kind serving to unite 52 million domestic workers around the globe, has been initiated with the support of the ILO and the Olof Palme Centre.

    Strengthening leadership capacities of stakeholders from Nepal and Paraguay to influence policies on migrant domestic workers

    The Global Action Programme on Migrant Domestic Workers and their Families (GAP-MDW) supported participation of the stakeholders from Nepal and Paraguay in the training organized by UN Women on Gender, Migration, Development: A Matter of Rights, aiming at replication of the training at national level and promotion of a gender sensitive approach of advocacy on migrant domestic workers’ rights.
