The newly launched Social Entrepreneurship Action Framework 2030 provides a new national direction for the development of social entrepreneurship in Malaysia.

The Office Report on “Decent Work and the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE)” is now available

The ILO joined Cooperatives of the Americas to mark the 20th anniversary of Recommendation 193 and to share highlights of the discussion on decent work and the social and solidarity economy at the 110th International Labor Conference

During the session, cooperative leaders from the Americas reflected on the relevance of Recommendation 193 to advance the values of cooperativism in the region. They also reflected on what the upcoming general discussion on decent work and the social and solidarity economy that will take place at the 110th International Labour Conference mean for the cooperative movement in the region and globally.

Discussing the process followed in developing the Social and Solidarity Economy policy in South Africa

On the 23rd March, the ILO, together with partners the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (dtic), Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) and Government of Flanders, launched a report benchmarking the process followed in developing the social and solidarity economy policy, against international best practice.
