  2. Three ILO projects on social and solidarity economy policy presented at the Enterprises Department’s virtual exhibit

    The COOP Unit of the ILO has shared highlights from three social and solidarity economy (SSE) policy projects from six countries in Asia and two countries in Africa during the ILO Enterprises Department’s virtual exhibit as part of its global team meeting.

  3. Workshop on Strengthening SSE Policy in Asia to take place in March 2021

    The ILO will bring together tripartite delegations, practitioners and leaders in the SSE movement, researchers and other stakeholders from six Asian countries in a virtual capacity-building workshop to enhance their capacity in developing and/or strengthening their SSE policies and programmes.

  4. ILO/KoSEA/SNU joint conference held in Seoul to share the findings of ILO project on strengthening SSE policy in Asia

    The international research conference on strengthening SSE policy in Asia attracted more than 400 participants and 1,400 viewers online from Asia and beyond.

    This conference will discuss policies to strengthen social and solidarity economy in South Korea, China, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines.

  6. KoSEA and ILO convene a second virtual interim research workshop with country researchers for the ILO project on strengthening SSE policy in Asia

    Officials of the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency (KoSEA), and ILO staff members met online with country researchers for the project to discuss the feedback from the second drafts of the case studies to prepare for presentation in a research conference that will take place on September 22

  7. ILO COOP 100 Webinar III - Cooperatives for Climate Action

    The webinar focused on climate action, the theme for this year’s International Day of Cooperatives. Four speakers presented on the role of cooperatives in climate change mitigation and adaptation and discussed ways to scale up efforts toward a greener and better future.

  9. An ILO project on strengthening SSE policy in Asia convenes a virtual interim research workshop
