12th Academy on Social and Solidarity Economy - Elective 1: Promoting fundamental principles and rights at work in the SSE

The electives of the SSE Academy were designed for practitioners from around the world to share and discuss practices, ideas and models for SSE action in specific fields. The first elective 1 took place on 16, 17 and 18 November 2021. It focused on the promotion of fundamental principles and rights at work in the Social and Solidarity Economy. It was available for participants in English, French and Spanish.

ILO COOP 100 Webinar V - SSE momentum: Finance for Inclusion and the Future of Work during Covid-19 pandemic

The webinar focused on the key challenges related to the future of work, how they affect local communities, and what Social and Solidarity Economy Organizations (SSEOs) are doing toward addressing them. Two keynote speakers presented the main findings of recent research, while three discussants enriched the debate.

The ILO and the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP25
The twenty-fifth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP25) organized by Chile, will be held in Madrid on 2-13 December 2019. The ILO will bring to the table the importance of the social and political drivers for a successful and rapid transition into more respectful economies, and will also be presenting the 'Climate Action for Jobs Initiative' an action plan resulted from the Climate Action Summit 2019.
