    The Decent Work in the Garment Sector Supply Chains in Asia project funded by the Government of Sweden, provides concrete follow-up to the resolution adopted in 2016 by the International Labour Conference concerning decent work in global supply chains.

  3. Support for Labour Law and Industrial Relations Reform in Malaysia

    The overall objective of this project is increased compliance with labour law and ILO fundamental principles and rights at work.

    The InSIGHT Phase 2 Project aims to explore and prove that a skills-driven approach is an appropriate ‘pathway’ to deliver inclusive growth in Asia.

  5. ILO-EU Trade for Decent Work Project (Trade4DW) in the Philippines

    1 January - 31 December 2021, Manila, Philippines

    The ILO-EU Trade for Decent Work Project (Trade4DW) in the Philippines is part of the global Trade for Decent Work Project, which was established in 2019 by both the European Commission (EC) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) to help improve labour relations and working conditions, and ensure better application of international labour standards (ILS) in the EU’s trading partner countries, including the Philippines.

  6. New industrial relations framework in respect of the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles & Rights at Work (NIRF/FPRW) in Viet Nam

    The project's development goal is to contribute to sustainable and inclusive economic growth of Vietnam by building effective industrial relations institutions and practices based on freedom of association and effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.

  7. Rights at Work: promoting harmonious labour relations through collective bargaining in China

    29 August 2016 - 29 February 2020,

    This project aims to build the institutional capacity of Chinese workers, employers, and their respective organizations to carry out voluntary collective bargaining and to resolve labor disputes efficiently and effectively. The program further aims to support the ILO's tripartite constituents in China to strengthen collective bargaining institutions and governance frameworks for the promotion and improved application of core labor standards, especially in relation to disadvantaged groups of workers.

  8. Caring Gold Mining Project

    11 December 2015 - 31 October 2019, Camarines Norte, Philippines

    Funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL), the four-year project will address child labour, decent work deficits and working conditions in Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (ASGM) in the Philippines, specifically in Camarines Norte as pilot province.

  9. GSP+ Beneficiary Countries to Effectively Implement International Labour Standards and Comply with Reporting Obligations

    24 November 2016 - 31 August 2019, Manila, Philippines

    The project, funded by the European Commission, contributes to better application of freedom of association and right to collective bargaining in the Philippines, focusing on measures to better address allegations concerning violation of workers’ rights in the context civil liberties.

  10. LSGSC project in Cambodia

    1 December 2014 - 31 March 2019, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

    The development objective of the Labour Standards in Global Supply Chains (LSGSC) project is to improve the lives of workers and increase decent work opportunities in global supply chains (GSCs) in the garment sector, starting with the project’s beneficiary countries: Cambodia, Indonesia and Pakistan. The project’s programme of action includes interventions at factory-level and country-level as well as global and Asia regional components.
