This report provides a valuable assessment of the current economic and labour market situation in Latin America and the Caribbean. It examines how, overall, healthy economic performance has led to improvements in the regional labour market, but that unemployment in the region still remains high. This edition also includes two feature articles – one examining voluntary migration trends both within and outside the region, the second looks at economic and labour progress in Latin America and the Caribbean since the application of economic stabilization policies since the early 1990s.
