Rooting out child labour from cocoa farms (Series of 4 papers)

These four papers synthesize the knowledge and experiences acquired from implementation of the ILO-IPEC technical assistance programme to combat hazardous and exploitative child labour in cocoa and commercial agriculture in West Africa (WACAP). This series of four papers is available as one boxed set.

The ILO estimates that about 70 per cent of the world's 218 million child labourers (from 5-17 years old) are working in agriculture, on small family farms or large plantations, missing out on school and exposed to serious hazards and exploitation.

The four papers in this series, Rooting out child labour from cocoa farms, synthesize the knowledge and experiences acquired from implementation of the ILO-IPEC technical assistance programme to combat hazardous and exploitative child labour in cocoa and commercial agriculture in West Africa (WACAP).
