    The ILO and Jordan’s Ministry of Agriculture agree to implement the second phase of a project to boost decent jobs through green works and labour-intensive employment in agriculture and forestry.

    A labour-intensive ILO initiative to develop water catchment and drip irrigation systems is playing a pivotal role in creating decent work opportunities in northern Jordan.

    As part of the ILO’s efforts to support communities in Jordan most affected by the Syrian refugee crisis, the 2014 Irbid Olive and Rural Produce Festival brought together local farmers and businesses to showcase products and explore avenues to develop the olive industry.
