Safe migration tips for working in the fishing and seafood processing sectors
This brochure contains advice on safe migration practices, labour rights protection and relevant contact information to seek assistance for migrant workers in Thailand’s fishing and seafood processing sectors.
Provision of accurate and up-to-date information about safe migration, labour rights and access to assistance is essential to support decent work for migrant workers in Thailand. The International Labour Organization developed this informational brochure to raise awareness for Myanmar migrant workers employed in the fishing and seafood processing sectors. The brochure provides practical and sector-specific information for migrant workers, including the contact details for government, trade union and civil society organizations where they can access assistance in Myanmar and Thailand.
