Social cohesion in fragile contexts through TVET

A cohort of TVET and other educational practitioners received training on core skills for social cohesion and peaceful coexistence from 30 November to 03 December 2020 in Jigjiga, Ethiopia, in an effort by ILO to promote stronger economic relations and contacts between Forcibly Displaced Populations (FDPs) and their host communities.

ILO/Germany programme to protect garment workers affected by COVID-19

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is giving €14.5 million to an International Labour Organization (ILO) multi-donor programme to help garment sector workers in seven countries who have been affected by COVID-19.
