Stories from street children in Lebanon

Watch this series of short films featuring the stories of children who live and work on the streets of Lebanon’s cities, as told by the children themselves, using animation skills they learnt during a children’s advocacy training project.

Samer's story

Samer, an 11 year old Lebanese boy who had to leave school and work on the streets to support his family. Samer has to tolerate all sorts of harassment and abuse in order to earn a living.


Fadi 's story

Fadi, an 8 year old Syrian boy who was brought to Lebanon by his uncle and then left to fend for himself on the streets.


Mustafa's story

Mustafa, an 11 year old Syrian boy who sells roses on the streets of Lebanon in order to support his family in Syria.


Manal's story

Manal, a 10 year old Lebanese girl who had to leave school and work on the streets to help support her family.


Rami's story

Rami, a 12 year old Syrian boy who ran away from his abusive father and came to Lebanon.
