  1. A greener life is a rosier one, thanks to mushrooms

    The UN Climate Action Summit (23 September) will consider the social and economic consequences of moving to a more sustainable economy. Without proper planning millions of livelihoods – particularly of poor and vulnerable workers – are threatened. An ILO project in Bangladesh has shown that the right policies can protect the environment, improve workers’ lives and promote a greener economy.

  1. The ILO/USDOL International HIV/AIDS Workplace Education Programme - Stories from the field

    Approximately 650 workplaces in 24 countries stretching from Benin to China are now involved with in the workplace education programme known as SHARE (Strategic HIV/AIDS Responses in Enterprises). Overall, an estimated million workers benefit from the ILO interventions financed by the United States Department of Labor. These are some lessons learned from SHARE countries
