    Global Forum for a Human-centred Recovery

    Organized by the ILO from 22-24 February, the Global Forum for a Human-centred Recovery brought together online heads of State and Government, heads of international organizations and multilateral development banks, and employers’ and workers’ leaders from around the world to propose concrete actions and strengthen the international community’s response to the COVID-19 crisis.

  2. United Nations Food Systems Summit

    Hundreds of participants from all over the globe are taking part in a UN "People's Summit" on food systems. Opening on 26 July in Rome, the online meeting will pave the way for a major Summit that will take place later in the year that will discuss how to leverage the power of food systems to deliver progress on all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

  5. UN virtual forum on responsible business and human rights in Asia and the Pacific: New challenges, new approaches

    Against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, the VRBHR Forum will convene stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region to take stock of progress and discuss challenges and opportunities for advancing responsible business and human rights in the region. It will explore how existing vulnerabilities have been amplified and exposed by the crisis and discuss the need to view the crisis as an opportunity to drive change and build back better.

  8. Tripartite Meeting of Experts on Cross-border Social Dialogue

    In accordance with the decision taken by the Governing Body of the International Labour Office (ILO) at its 334th Session (November 2018), the ILO will organize a Tripartite Meeting of Experts on Cross-border Social Dialogue, which will be held at the ILO headquarters, in Geneva, from 12 to 15 February 2019.

  9. PAGE Ministerial Conference 2019: Advancing Inclusive and Sustainable Economies

    Being hosted by the Department of Environmental Affairs, South Africa, the Third PAGE Ministerial Conference will take place at the International Convention Centre in Cape Town from 10 to 11 January 2019, and highlight and celebrate drivers of innovation and entrepreneurship through inclusivity in advancing green industries for a better and more sustainable future for all.
