This decision follows the earlier adoption of a Resolution and set of Conclusions during the International Labour Conference in June 2011 and reflects the same broad consensus from governments, employers and workers for the ILO's work on labour administration and inspection. The action plan includes a set of six components covering: international labour standards; strategies and tools for technical assistance; knowledge development; exchange of good practices; partnerships; and strengthening the ILO's capacity. It will be the basis for LAB/ADMIN's work and technical assistance to constituents in the coming years as it delivers on the results of the Conference discussion.
