The International Network of Training Institutions in the field of Labour (RIIFT) held its 15th meeting in Lisbon, Portugal.
The theme of the meeting was "New information and communication technologies applied to the knowledge development and training of labour inspectors and occupational safety and health specialists”. René Robert, ILO Labour Administration and Inspection Officer, presented recent ILO research on new technologies in light of the 2011 ILC general discussion on labour administration and inspection.
