Theoretical and practical training course on Labour Inspection

The ILO started, on 17th May, a theoretical and practical training course on labour inspection in Lebanon, which extends for 5 days. The course is being attended by 40 participants of labour inspectors, OSH inspectors, workers' representatives, employers representatives and social security inspectors. The topics of the course included, among others, labour inspection visits, OSH inspection, inspection of employment relations, inspection of working inspection, Corporate Social Responsibility and the challenges facing labour inspection. It also included field visits to some enterprises for practical training. Earlier this month, the ILO also conducted a similar course in Syria and completed in Oman, an other training program on labour inspection, which included participants from the workers' and employers organizations, in addition to labour inspectors.
