This paper explains the strategy for the area of critical importance (ACI) on “Creating and extending social protection floors”. It provides an overview of the main areas of focus, the implementation of the strategy and progress to date. The Governing Body is invited to provide guidance on the strategy and its implementation (see draft decision in paragraph 39).
