Sectoral meetings held in 2019 and proposals for 2020–21

The Governing Body is invited to approve the publication and dissemination of the guidelines on the promotion of decent work and road safety in the transport sector and the summary record of the proceedings of the Meeting of Experts to adopt the guidelines (section I). The Governing Body is further invited to decide on the appointment of chairpersons for five technical meetings to be held in 2020–21, on arrangements for two meetings to be held in the first half of 2021 and on an additional meeting under the programme of sectoral meetings for 2020–21 (section II) (see the draft decision in paragraph 11). In the revised version of 3 June, the list of meetings in Appendix II has been updated to reflect scheduling delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
