    The project aims to build and apply the critical knowledge needed to inform policy choices to combat child labour and forced labour, and to support measures to address these challenges in key countries (including Serbia). In support of this effort, the project develops knowledge, advocacy, capacity-building and global action necessary to eradicate child labour and forced labour.

  3. Young people learn about rights at work in Moldova

    14 January 2019 - 31 May 2020

    The idea of the project is to use gamification of the Rights@Work instruction materials in schools and other contexts to raise young people's awareness of their rights at work. Areas to be covered include important guidance on how to avoid the traps of informal economy, understand their rights and obligations at work, know where they can obtain support and increase their participation in the governance of the labour market.

  4. ILO project to improve safety and health in the mining industry of Ukraine

    1 May 2017 - 31 March 2020

    The overall objective of the project is to reduce work accidents and occupational diseases in the mining industry of Ukraine through a systematic development of modern occupational safety and health (OSH) policies supported by enhanced capacity of social partners. The project will assist the constituents at policy level, strengthen the capacity of social partners to implement practical OSH management measures at the workplace level, and promote occupational safety and preventative culture.

  5. Improved Compliance with Labour Laws in Georgia

    31 December 2013 - 31 March 2020

    The project supported the Government of Georgia to enforce labour laws and International Labour Standards (ILS), supported workers’ organizations to improve their capacities to represent workers’ rights and fostered national tripartite social dialogue.

  2. Autonomy, voice and participation of persons with disabilities in Serbia

    The intervention responds to priority areas concerning the position and rights of persons with disabilities in Serbia – equality before the law, equality of women and girls with disabilities and the right to work. The activities are foreseen to generate legislative interventions in strategic areas, change cultural norms and awareness of main stakeholders, build and strengthen capacities of target groups and stakeholders. The overall aim is to advance the autonomy, voice and participation of persons with disabilities in Serbia, in sustainable and measurable qualitative and quantitative terms.

  3. Technical support on employment policies for youth, women and migrants in Moldova

    1 October 2017 - 31 October 2019

    The project aims to improve employment policies with particular attention to women and young people. The focus of the intervention will be on the implementation of the National Employment Policy, the design and implementation of the Territorial/Local Employment Pacts and the implementation of the recommendations coming from the functional audit of the Public Employment Service.
