The ultimate goal of the project is to strengthen national Skills Development systems, policies and strategies to enhance employment opportunities for both women and men. In particular the Project will address a number of key challenges that the TVET system is currently facing on a policy and institutional level.

Decent work for all has increasingly been made a key objective for the Government's efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the ILO will provide support to Azerbaijan to implement the 2030 Agenda. The development objective of the project is to improve employment opportunities, working conditions and social protection of women and men, by contributing to the implementation of DWCPs in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The project is supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.

The project aims at developing a national policy to promote women’s employment, creating decent work opportunities for women through active labour market policies and building awareness on gender equality and labour standards.

This DWCP identifies strategic priorities and outcomes to be achieved during the period 2013-2017 through joint action of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the social partners on the one hand, and the ILO, on the other. Its overall objective is to promote decent work through a coherent policy approach that is made operational by a set of priorities and outcomes.
