Volume one presents a compilation of papers of the first ILO/ASIST regional seminar. The topics covered during the seminar included; low cost structures; haulage; training materials; road construction techniques; road maintenance; labour administration, monitoring and control.
Volume two summarises the discussion arising from the topics covered during the seminar and reports on the site visit, during which a grading demonstration using a double axle towed grader was carried out
